We packed up our gear and went on location to a family reunion shoot. The weather and landscape at the location was absolutely gorgeous. The hill served as bleacher-like seats as we arranged everyone as quickly as possible to get the best possible shot we could. They have the reunion every 5 years, and we are honored to be able to photograph it.
Check out the 100% crop from the original image. 22 megapixels of greatness lets us capture over 40 people in a single frame without muddying up the details.
7 month old Alissa and her family came in our studio for some precious photos in her pretty white baptism dress. She sat on a nice comfy beanbag that was covered in a white silk blanket. A couple peek-a-boo’s and our friendly lab, Canon, is all it took for her to look right in the camera with a big smile.
To assure happiness in the final product, we uploaded Alisa’s photos on our computer and her parents were able to pick out the poses they liked the best right away.

We had a such a fun time walking around the park and shooting all kinds of fun portraits. Fun fact for everyone, Blake proposed to Danielle right by the fountain in the winter, so we recreated the same post and composition. Blake also reeeeeeally wanted to jump in the fountain so I pushed the idea all along the shoot ...
Our Mother’s Day Special was a huge success and we like to thank all of you wonderful Mother’s and children for coming in and being a part of it.
We had a lot of fun and everyone was very happy with their instant 8x10 photo and had a beautiful personal gift to give their Mom.
If you missed it don’t worry, we will keep you posted of our Father’s Day Special in June!
“Thank you so much! My mom loved the photo! She cried!!!!” -Brittney
Congratulations to very loving and happy couple, Marcella & Frank! Now the question is, how many kissing photo's did we capture?... ; ) This high energy wedding was a blast and their love showed in all the photo's. Michael and I were able to capture every detail of their special day. They had a very unique bagpipe band, where the talented groom joined in with his friends and put on quite the show. Congrats again to the very happy newlyweds.
Here's a little behind the scenes look at what a photo shoot can be like at Photographics Solution. Just a lot of fun and goofy times, you can really tell we like what we do! More videos soon to come...
The Easter Bunny hopped along to a fundraiser at Applebee's with a basket a chocolates to greet the Youth Group of St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church. We brought our portable studio there and displayed photo's on our 27 inch I-Mac which allowed everyone to select the photos they wanted right away at the restaurant. Last holiday event we shot for the Youth group was breakfast with Santa, which was a great turnout as well.
Sponge Bob music and our web developer, Shawn, dancing around with a Huge Sponge Bob stuffed animal, brought big glowing smiles to Alana! She had such a great time as we provided her very own entertainment of her favorite cartoon, which made for great photo's. She even made friends with our dog, Canon as well. We look forward to many more shoots with her and her family. We had the privilige of shooting her Mom and Dads wedding in the past.
We met the Huemmer Family at out most recent wedding up in the frozen Adirondack Mountains. They enjoyed all their photos from the wedding so much that they scheduled a portrait session soon after!
We photographed their daughter Taylor and their three dogs - Honey, Reenie, & Jasmin. Lot's of doggy biscuits and no water bowls (they just seem to track drool everywhere - learned through trial and error!)
We have worked on our process to effectively get shots with animals and I just can't reveal that here, I think that's what they used to call "Trade Secrets."
I think Nicole and I set our personal record for family portraits in a single sitting this weekend! Between setting up, moving the set, and the breaking down process, we managed to get over 13 different family combinations and an impromptu group shot with the whole party there in just under an hour.
Happy 80th Birthday!! I'm sure it was one to remember!
Great to have the Abitabile Family in for a group portrait. Everyone looked great, scheduling the shoot before a nice family dinner out in Hudson. We might just have to be forced to buy a bigger backdrop because I could just spend forever creating a bigger one in Photoshop!
I think we all had a great time with the selection process on the iMac, picking and choosing our favorites and then getting a final composite with everyone's best expressions. Again, kudos to the Adobe team for creating Photoshop and to Wacom for developing the best airbrushing tablet to make my job easier.
No snow, ice, or below freezing temperatures would stop us from shooting. This weekend we shot my former Art teacher's wedding in the Adirondacks.
We bundled up, snapped on our snow shoes and treaded out to a beautiful ice covered lake where they were wed.
This wedding was very special to me as she was the teacher who inspired me to become a photographer and believed in me and pushed my creativity.
